The 12 Days of Christmas Challenge (Sweepstakes)
PoptropicaStars and Nathan Devilman have created a new holiday sweepstakes starting on December 14, 2012 and ending on Christmas Day. This year's final sweepstakes is called the, "12 Days of Christmas Challenge", which PoptropicaStars fans will show how much they love one of their favorite fashionistas. Here is how:
Starting on December 14, PoptropicaStars fans will send in live pictures of creative ways of displaying the gifts sang in the popular Christmas carol, "The Twelve Days of Christmas". For example, on day one of the song/sweepstakes, the song enumerates,
You, the sweepstakes contestants, will have to think of a creative way to incorporate "a partridge in a pear tree" to your daily pictures such as having your pet parrot sit on a bonsai tree, taking a picture of a crow sitting on a birch hung onto an oak tree, etc. (You may not directly use those given examples.) After sending in the pictures, the top two winners will be announced the next day and receive a complimentary gift from PoptropicaStars. However, if you think this sweepstakes is fairly easy, think again. Each day (like the song), will add up with gifts and you will have to incorporate a way of showing each gift listed in the song all in one picture. For example, if the song is on the second day, you will need to have your rendition of "a patridge in a pear tree" and "two turtle doves" in one picture. Starting from day two, sweepstakes contenders will be eliminated until only five or fewer remain for the final day. In the end, the "12 Days of Christmas Challenge" grand winner will receive:
PRIZES FOR WINNING DAY 12:
1. A first-class charter flight to New York City to experience the ball drop into 2013
2. A free PoptropicaStars seasonal line of choice

Veterans Day Convention
PoptropicaStars attended a Veterans Day convention at 11:30 A.M. in Rancho Cucamonga, California today at the Poptropican Civic Center. Like her, many Poptropican celebrity residents who live in Los Angeles County were invited to this special VIP event. Military families and government figures who signed up for the event also were allowed into the convention with proof of waiver signatures. The turn-out for this convention went great as more than 100 guests came to the event.
At noon, Poptropicans attached the American flag to the indoor pole as each guest paid respects to the troopers. At 1:00 P.M., the guests were given a light European-style lunch including ratatouille, bruschetta, or lobster bisque with choice of drinks. At 2:25 P.M., guests were given the chance to meet a government figure. PoptropicaStars decided to chat with the official linguist of the Poptropican President, Britney Wright to learn more about her job as helping the Pop. President interpret messages. Other government figures attending the convention include Poptropican Branch of Congress member, Roger Kingston, and the Pop. President's assistant bill verifier, Edward Collingdale. At 3:00 P.M., guests were able to listen to Wright's speech about Veterans Day and the military families who sacrificed a lot to help countries in need. Nearing the end of the convention at 4:00 P.M., everyone had their final chats before leaving for the night.

A "Corny" Date
This sunny afternoon, PoptropicaStars and Nathan Devilman took a decent road trip from Los Angeles to Irvine, California to visit a popular agricultural site near Orange County named Tanaka Farms. At Tanaka Farms, PoptropicaStars and Nathan were delighted to enjoy the wonderful essence of the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. They walked through a corn maze (getting lost several times on their way to the finishing point), sat back and relaxed on a horse-drawn cart, danced to upbeat country music at the concert area, had a nice picnic enjoying nature, and purchased a couple of souvenirs and farm-grown produce to take back home. At the end of the visit, PoptropicaStars and Nathan Devilman give each other a sweet kiss before driving back to their hometown. They make such a cute couple.

The Haunted House
PoptropicaStars was driven by limousine to Rancho Santa Rosa Historic Area near Temecula, California for another "Autumn Flavor" photoshoot depicting the second picture plot of the fall season. Scenes and settings were pre-built in the historic area and the building team waited until nighttime for the photoshooting to begin. In the "story", after the long hike through the mystical meadows, PoptropicaStars finds it nightfall and sees a creepy haunted house. While she thinks about if she should enter the house to find warmth or stay away from evil spirits among the mysterious graves, she decides it was better to be warmer than staying in the cold all night long.
Her main focus of apparel this photoshoot is about "twilight night" colors. She is wearing a dark blue mini-dress with wrap-around sewing techniques and dark brown mid-calf high heel boots. The mini-dress is simple, yet vaguely bringing out the background and foreground. However, the boots do create a more suspenseful and mysterious vibe to the picture.

PoptropicaStars Fashion Fever S2 Interviews: Kendra's Elimination
Kendra Whitler, the 19-year old runway model from San Diego, California was eliminated by an intense, 3-2 voting conclusion. The main reason of her departure was because of her dangerous social confusion and false accusations towards some other designers in-game and out. Although she placed fifth out of eighth this season, she remains one of the most strategic players to participate in PoptropicaStars Fashion Fever. After packing and leaving in a comfortable state of mind, she was relocated to the elimination villa in Malibu, California at 9:12 A.M. where Jennifer, Danielle, and Tiffany were shocked in disbelief and disgust. Kendra genuinely hugged all the villa residents which Danielle found awkward. Kendra asked everyone if they wanted to see her demise on video. The other designers agreed and all sat down at the luxury beige sofa sipping morning cappuccinos with low-fat milk and eating chocolate chip cookies. After the viewing party, Danielle confronted Kendra about lying to her during her "burn book night" and framing Iris with the tale. Kendra explained if she was able to get Iris on the block against herself, she would sway ahead of the Gucci Girls and eliminate Heidi. Danielle found that answer vague and felt more disgusted about her. Later that night, the residents received a special trip to an exotic surf & turf restaurant at the Santa Monica Pier where they enjoyed barbecued shrimp, onion rings, mashed potatoes, sparkling wine, and a tribal fire baton show.
After getting back to the villa, Kendra received a surprise phone call from her fiancee, Eric Rouzvelte. Eric tells Kendra to enjoy the best moments in sequester and don't let the game haunt her head. He explains to her they will have a fabulous wedding no matter what happens.
Before Kendra arrived at the elimination villa, she had to prepare for her interview with Nick Burley, the host of Good Morning Poptropica. The interview started at 7:25 and Nick asked these questions during the interview.
NICK: Good morning Kendra, we know it's been quite an adventure, so how are you doing?
KENDRA: I'm doing fine, Nick. It's been a rollercoaster ride.
NICK: Okay, I'm going to ask you a series of Fashion Fever and personal related questions and you have to answer them as honestly as you can. Ready?
KENDRA: I'm ready. Let's go!
NICK: First question, what were your thoughts when PoptropicaStars revealed the final tallies of the votes?
KENDRA: I was pretty shocked, but not because I was eliminated. I knew I would've been eliminated even if I talked to Nariah and Iris, but hey, why not try a trick shot at least. It was startling when either Nariah or Iris wanted to keep me and kick Heidi out. I was amazed how one lecture can take you places.
NICK: When you made your Bollywood outfit, what was in your mind of winning that fashion assignment?
KENDRA: You know what, I was attempting to put a little twist in the Bollywood theme by making my design look more gothic European than spiritual colors so the judges will think of the creative aspect I put into my outfit. I took that risk, but apparently the risk did not pay off as well as I hoped it would.
NICK: Here's a tougher question, why did you constantly lie to some designers to control what happens in the game?
KENDRA: No thinking necessary. I needed to lie to Danielle first so I could show Tiffany everyone trusted in her to get rid of the leftovers and to let Iris know she was "crazy". Next, I was targeting Tiffany because I needed her gone to win fashion immunities. I remembered the alliance I agreed to join and it was about time to quit from... in my say, "the pseudo-alliance"... and backstab Tiffany to leapfrog ahead of her. Next I was onto Heidi so I would have a greater chance at winning immunity, but apparently, Nariah and Iris have their own game to be played and I got the boot instead.
NICK: Wow, sweet answer! Next question, who do you think voted for your stay in the game during your final night in the designing lair?
KENDRA: Mm... it might have been Iris because she did talk to me about keeping me, but that was a pretty stupid idea to address. Umm... Nariah might have been swayed to my side, but I don't see that happening. I don't know, was it... Iris?
NICK: You'll have to find out for yourself, Kendra. How would you have reacted if the mime from the Bollywood assignment had ruined your outfit?
KENDRA: Oh.. my.. gosh! I do not want to see that mime ever again in my life especially at my wedding with Eric.. Love you Eric, if you're watching! I would have been cursing, screaming, maybe even throw in a few fingernail scratches at that mime if he destroyed my designs. I hope he's not in the room right now...
NICK: Hahaha, I would compliment you on your body formation right now. You're really fit and healthy. What was your favorite meal in the show?
KENDRA: Thank you and the food was just epic and delicious! One of my favorite meals was after Jen's elimination and the chef's do-it-yourself table had quinoa salad with asparagus and grated mozzarella cheese. It was rich with flavor and thickness. I need to get that recipe, it's super delicious!
NICK: We're running out of time so who is your favorite designer in the game right now and do you have any regrets?
KENDRA: Okay. My favorite designer in the game is Heidi because she is a good competitor, she designs strong outfits, and she delivers her designs with class. And no, I do not own any regrets. What happened should have happened and I'm not taking any more bullets in my head.
NICK: It was very nice to interview and meet you, Kendra. I hope you have a great day.
KENDRA: Thank you so much, Nick. You too! It was such a pleasure to meet you.

In this autumn photoshoot, PoptropicaStars was flown to Muir Woods State Park near San Francisco, California to model her new, limited edition clothing line, "Autumn Flavor". PoptropicaStars's main focus in this photoshoot is her argyle close-up dress. The autumn tints on the dress blend well with the forestry behind her while the black high heels with blue laces create mystery upon the stairs. If you think this could be Narnia enough, the cappuccino-colored eyeshadow brings out her entire outfit with flair and the forest background with whimsical thoughts.

Christina Jones's Poptropolis Games Trials
Most of us know the controversial Christina Jones (7th place on "PoptropicaStars Fashion Fever S1") as a prissy, full-of-herself, disrespectful drama diva. However, you may want to reconsider those condescending comments and change them to sympathy cards after seeing this leaked collage of her auditioning for the qualifier round in the first annual Poptropolis Games in Huntsville, Alabama. It looks like Christina had her ups and downs during each nine events. We have received a closed caption audio sheet from her interview with "OMG! Poptropica Gossip" presenter, Ollie Lopenza.
"Being able to audition for the qualifying spots in the Poptropolis Games is a Disneyland fairy tale to me. Not only can I take a break from my sassy fashion boutique in Greenville... these games just sport up my athleticism... The reason why I hate the Olympic Games and not the Poptropolis Games is 'cause... look at how much inappropriate slang and cheating has been thrown in there [Olympic Games]. It's just stupid watching countries represent each other with bribery, cheating, and hell Mary cut loose. Poptropolis [Games] actually removes the people who cheat, bribe, and break loose. Well, I'm all into cheating and bribing and ____, but that's just wrong if you're playing a full blown out sport... See ya losers!" - Christina Jones
After all of Christina's attempts to compete in the qualifying rounds in Washington D.C., she fell short by just 68 points. |

Fashion Fever Designer Sightings (Alis H. and Paris C.)
Former Fashion Fever designers, Alis Henderson (winner of season 1) and Paris Chartel (5th place in season 1), were both spotted by a local resident in Palm Desert, California. It is confirmed via Facebook, Paris invited Alis from her Hawaiian vacation to help her purchase new school supplies for her second year of teaching middle school English. (Paris decided to also become an English teacher as well as an online fashionista after season 1 of Fashion Fever ended.) They concluded the remaining-anonymous local could take a picture of them standing next to a "99¢ Only Store".

PoptropicaStars Presents "Back To School" Fashion
PoptropicaStars has returned for the exciting "back to school shopping spree" and giving some good tips to help you survive through the upcoming school year! Here are some fashion retail or department stores to grab your friends' envy and still be able to focus on schoolwork.
"Okay, so I have chosen three stores you must go to for the latest apparel for your kids. These stores will have fashionable school clothes, and you still will have leftover spending cash for lunch boxes and more. Here we go!" ~PoptropicaStars
BEST SCHOOL CLOTHING STORES (UPDATED) by PoptropicaStars:
1. Kohl's- I honestly love this department store because not only does it have school uniforms for those bit stricter schools, it has top-of-the-line styles for both guys and girls. My favorite brand at Kohl's would be 'Authentic Icon' (non-rebel version) because I love their unique star pattern on some tops they sell. The best one I found going there yesterday for a fashion interview was their sequin star top (pictured below). It's school-appropriate, it's stylish, it's sassy, and it has a good fit. I would definitely recommend Kohl's to anyone.
2. Target- Even though this superstore may seem like an average school uniform, it really isn't. My favorite elementary brand there happens to be the ever so cute 'Disney'. It has all the Mickey and Bambi (pictured below) ready for your school year. However, my favorite teen brand would be in between 'Mossimo' and 'Merona'. These two have modest, beautiful tops and jeans, yet they're at a really affordable price. And sweetening the deal, it's only a one stop shop so you can purchase new shoes, socks, accessories, skirts, shirts, shorts, whatever... Target has it.
3. Madelyn's Closet- For all the Poptropica residents, Madelyn's Closet brings the exclusive fashion to you. It has a back to school sale which lowers the original retail price 60%. The loveable brands there include 'Finis', 'Bertram Caliente', their own 'Madelyn' brand, and exclusively 'Calvin Klein', 'Mossimo', and best of all, 'Gucci', and 'Dolce & Gabanna'. The best back to school brands would be 'Mossimo', 'Finis', and 'Madelyn' because their styles are so futuristic and extravagant for back to school brands, but it also won't get too much attention so schoolwork can actually be worked on. My favorite outfit I found there would be a sleeved halter top for teens and black cotton pants.
