PoptropicaStars Fashion Fever S2 Interviews: Danielle's Elimination

Danielle Tarenses, the self-employed, 17-year old girl, from San Mateo, California was eliminated due to her lack of strength in fashion designing and her crazy outburst happening during the fashion designing time. She left the designing lair immediately after she said her good-byes and packed her bags. She was relocated to the elimination station villa in Malibu, California where Jennifer Crowsey was waiting for the next eliminee. Jennifer was extremely shocked Danielle was eliminated from the designing lair. Danielle put in the episode 2 DVD of how her journey failed while they had a lovely cherry amaretto cocktail. They got a special spa treatment on the villa's balcony and enjoyed a relaxing meditation session in the villa's mystery room.

Danielle received a surprise phone call from her parents at home and told her they missed her and her little brother spent time with her on the phone as well.

Before Danielle arrived at the villa, she needed to get ready for her interview with Nick Burley, the host of Good Morning Poptropica. The interview started at 7:20 and Nick asked these questions during the interview:

NICK: Good morning Danielle, how are you doing?
DANIELLE: Good morning Nick, I'm doing fine.
NICK: Sweet, let's start it, what would you change on your Japanese outfit you designed?
DANIELLE: Creatively speaking, I would've added a sunflower yellow pencil skirt instead of the paper mache crap I designed. That would've possibly given me a glimpse of hope of surviving another night of elimination.
NICK: In your first fashion assignment, critic reviewing, what do you think you did wrong to make you lose fashion immunity?
DANIELLE: I really don't know, maybe I interviewed someone way back instead of way now? I don't know. It doesn't have to do with my speech is it?
NICK: It actually is the speech that was the problem, Danielle.
DANIELLE: Whaaat? Okay, next question please.
NICK: Sure, if you could form an alliance with one of the designers, who would it be?
DANIELLE: Before I knew the designers' personalities, I would've form an alliance with Iris. Now, I would probably form an alliance with Monica just because she's quiet, calm, and collective. She also designs great outfit, so if I need help, I would ask her for advice, and bam! I'm done!
NICK: If you won the 100,000 Poptropica credits, what would you do with it?
DANIELLE: Easy, my handcrafted apparel store in the San Mateo area, Dana's Wishes, is smaller than you think and my business is booming there. I would spend my money on opening up a newer, larger store in the downtown San Francisco area so many customers would be able to come in and find what they want easier without squeezing through all the crowds. And if I had a lot of leftover credits from my win, I would donate it to my friends and family.
NICK: Good causes Dana, what would you do if you lied to Iris or Kendra in the game instead of the other way around?
DANIELLE: I would definately fight fire with more fire. I would design better, not waste any time going for snacks between designing, think strategicly, and that way, I would probably win the credits.
NICK: Who do you think is the nicest designer this season?
DANIELLE: It's gonna be a tie between Monica and Nariah. Because like what I said, Monica's calm and collective. Nariah looks very shy and can easily become a likeable factor in this competition. Though, her fashion sense isn't as good as her photography skills from her magazine experience.
NICK: Do you have any regrets in the game?
DANIELLE: Probably when I still had time to work on my Japanese outfit and I finished early not knowing how much time I had left until I looked at the clock in the lockdown room. I was really disappointed that I didn't add any accessories and a real skirt.

PoptropicaStars's Money Ladder Appearance

PoptropicaStars was a guest star on Money Ladder this Friday afternoon to play for a good cause. During the show, she stated, "...all the money earned by me will be donated to the 'Healthy Hearts' charity to raise awareness of giving homeless children healthy food for a healthy life,". She made it to the $500,000 question, but failed to correctly answer this question, "What are two crops that were grown in South Carolina in the 1750s?".

The answers for the question above were:
A) Corn & Rice
B) Potatoes & Wheat
C) Tomatoes & Cacao
D) Beans & Peppers

PoptropicaStars chose B) as a final answer, but the true answer for this question was A). Her donation of $250,000 to the "Healthy Hearts" charity program was transacted this morning at about 8:00 A.M. As you can see, PoptropicaStars is a great example of a caring, generous TV personality star.

PoptropicaStars's Fashion Show Appearance: Tokyo, Japan

At the Shibuya Cultural Center in Tokyo, Japan, PoptropicaStars was photographed in an unusual orange bikini top & bottom just before fashion show time. The two-piece beachwear had a blobby and vertical pattern. She was also wearing a new type of headband, the "stretchy-band". Her make-up was black mascara and lime and leaf green eyeshadow. She looks magnificent and ready to rock the crowd with her catwalk.

The fashion show took place at 10:00 A.M. in Tokyo, Japan's time zone. There were numerous, famous Poptropica models at the fashion show such as Whitney Goldstein, Natasha Remise, Allison Riley, and Harper Vista showing off the latest trends and fashion delivered to Japan over the 9 months this year.

PoptropicaStars was at Huntington Beach this morning doing a photoshoot for Luscia M.'s newest and limited edition line of beachwear. In the photoshoot, she is wearing a blue & white striped bikini top and bottom. Luscia M.'s CEO, Barbara Skitzelcore, asked her to model the newest summer wear and Barbara thought she would look fabulous in the bikini top & bottom. In another company, OMG! Poptropica Gossip was stirring up controversy and many Poptropicans complained PoptropicaStars was being a "slut" and "fake". However, CEO of magazine security, Mia Clint, shut down the controversy by deleting the files of the nonsense talk. Back on topic, PoptropicaStars's photoshoot is amazingly natural and the photographer, Tom Fox, said it was all-natural, nothing photoshopped or face-lifted. This will be a great promotional poster for the new beachwear line.

Penelope's Appearance At The 2011 Poptropica TV Network Awards Show

Penelope Heatherson was seen at the 2011 Poptropica TV Network Awards Show in Pasadena, California at 5:00 PM. The paparazzi mob just can't get enough of her stylish, royal red dress and Glamour Girl lip gloss and lipstick.

Penelope was nominated as the "best judge of a reality TV show", but was competing against winning streak champ, Mario Domesco. Unfortunately, Penelope did lose to Mario, but she still felt she achieved something by being nominated as "best judge of a reality TV show".

PoptropicaStars Fashion Fever S2 Interviews: Jennifer's Elimination

Jennifer Crowsey, the 18-year old girl, from Minot, North Dakota was disappointed when she lost the 100,000 Poptropica credits. Once she left the designing lair, she was relocated to the elimination station villa. Last season's villa was in Miami, this time, it has moved to Malibu, California.

She received a surprise call from her mother and stated something tragic happening in the Minot area. Not only did she lose the money, she also lost her home from the flood last week. Jennifer's family has moved to South Dakota. She was devastated and wished she wasn't being the annoying girl who got on everyone's nerves.

Jennifer was in the Good Morning Poptropica show studio at 6:56 AM. Nick Burley, the host of Good Morning Poptropica is going to interview her about the game and how she could've changed her strategy. The interview was started at 7:15 AM. Here is the interview:


NICK: Good morning Jennifer, how are you today?
JENNIFER: I'm fabulous.
NICK: Let's get started, first off, what will you miss the most from season 2?
JENNIFER: Gosh, I will miss everything and everyone there. I think I will miss all of the designers in the game. Each one of them have shown courage to complete their assignments and they really do deserve to move on to the next fashion assignment.
NICK: I've heard some complaints about you pushing some of the designers around at the designing lair, what's with that attitude of yours?
JENNIFER: When my stress level gets to its maximum high and adrenaline starts pumping in my body, I get pushy and bossy around people. I don't know why, however my mother did tell me, "If the adrenaline pumps fast, you gotta let it out." That's why I choose to release the bossiness out of me.
NICK: Do you think you were the main antagonist in season 2?
JENNIFER: I don't refer myself to the central station of all this drama, but Christina Jones from season 1 was the main antagonist and she was the first one eliminated. I'm sure Tiffany is the main antagonist this season.
NICK: Why do you think Tiffany will be the villain of the season?
JENNIFER: Tiffany is the type of Poptropican people either hate or like. She is a really strong competitor, blocked my vote against her, a big athlete, and she can be the best of both worlds a lot of the times. Tiffany, I'm sure, will play a huge game of cat and mouse.
NICK: Who do you think is the nicest designer this season?
JENNIFER: I really like Iris's calmness and she's hyped about being on the show. I can describe her as this wacky mom who also loves her kids, in it to win the credits. I'm really not sure what her strategy is to get her further in the game, but we'll see. She might be the "fashion assassin" this season because I think her designs aren't really special and I believe she will be designing away, but receive mediocre scores from the judges.
NICK: Do you think the viewers of "Fashion Fever" disliked you from the beginning?
JENNIFER: That question, I'm not sure about. People have different opinions. Either you give a strong first impression and go out with a bang or you start of weak and finish strong. In my version of the game. I started off strong and ended it with a bang. So, I'm pretty sure people hated me in the beginning as well.
NICK: What would you change in your strategy and what was your original strategy?
JENNIFER: My original strategy was to trust the designing and use some of my mother's classic works and hope those designs will catapult me into the final 2. However, I did change half of the strategy by creating some drama to feel like I was a part of the game and not be the boring one who just designs good. That strategy didn't pay me forward, sadly.
NICK: Do you have any regrets in the game?
JENNIFER: Yeah, I did regret causing the drama about the plasma TV which ended my game early. So it sucks. I could've just used my original strategy and I could've gotten much further than this.

SUMMARY: This is the final part of the premiere (episode 1) and more tension between two designers will explode into an argument. There is also the fashion critic review reading. There were a few good ones and a couple of bad ones, but only one stood out for the judges. New Hairstyles

PoptropicaStars is showing off her new hairstyles, the left and middle were done by her beautician, naturally. The right one however was digitally made by Adobe Photoshop because PoptropicaStars didn't want her hair cut short. Her beautician, Gregory Chino, did a fantastic job with her hairstyles, she picked the first one to use in a L'Oreal Sensitive photoshoot. It was rumored that PoptropicaStars is also auditioning these hairstyles to be in Poptropica for everyone. Here are the three "hairy" photos.

After Alis's "Good Morning Poptropica" Guest Star Segment

As all of you know, Alis Henderson, the winner of "PoptropicaStars Fashion Fever" season 1, appeared on Good Morning Poptropica, this morning at 8:20 A.M. She had an amazing time being a guest star on the morning segment. She loved to show the viewers what types of apparel she has designed what's yet to come to stores from her. She even told everyone the day all of the shoes, dresses, and evening gowns are going to come to stores. The stores the apparel will be sold at are unknown. People say the apparel will be sold at Joann's or Trilogy.

After the show, Alis said one of her earrings were missing after she left the building. Her bodyguards started searching for her tiny, clear earrings inside and out of the building. There wasn't any luck. Alis was disappointed, but right before she got into her limousine, one of the bodyguards found it by the entrance doors.

Poptropica's 4th Annual Golden TV Award Ceremony: The Results

PoptropicaStars was at Poptropica's 4th Annual Golden TV Award Ceremony/Show and recieved 2 out of 3 awards. She won the award for "Best Host of A Reality TV Show" and "Best Edited Reality TV Show", but lost to Drew Millet, the host of "Pop Icon", for "Best Reality TV Show". All of PoptropicaStars's fans hope she will snag the "Best Reality TV Show" award next year at the 5th Annual Golden TV Award Ceremony. After the award show/ceremony, PoptropicaStars was interviewed by the one and only, queen of Astro-Knights Island, Sheritan Robes. PoptropicaStars was really honored to be interviewed by the queen herself. The queen was extremely delighted to have PoptropicaStars come over to her palace on Astro-Knights Island. They had bite-sized, no calorie, vanilla cookies and a wonderful cup of green tea. PoptropicaStars was questioned about how was the award ceremony, the New Kingdom fashion assignment from season 1 of PoptropicaStars Fashion Fever, and how her life was going. Two months ago, the producers started a sweepstakes contest a few weeks before the premiere of season 2 started. There were many sweepstakes entries from different people. Now, you might ask, what was the sweepstakes? The contest was an early audition for season 3 of PoptropicaStars Fashion Fever. The producers came down to the three hard-to-choose people for the winner. Those three were, Erika O, Kristy J, and Nicole W. During decision time, the producers thought for about an hour before coming to a decision on who will have a spot in season 3 of PoptropicaStars Fashion Fever.

It's week 11 of "Popularity Girl" and the elimination voting has been closed. By a vote of 4:5, Rachel, the sous chef, has been eliminated from the contest. MEGAN: My favorite game when I was little would be Double Dutch. The game includes two long jump ropes, and you jump over the two jump ropes perfectly over constantly and rhythmic. Double Dutch helps you sustain balance, rhythm, and agility.
JAIME: The game that I enjoyed the most would be Red Rover. I used to love that game when I was little. It's a group game so the whole group has to cooperate in order to succeed and win. One person will run towards connecting hands and try to break the connection and if they do succeed, those two are out and the person that charged through will be back in. This game was fun until someone choked during that game, so the game stopped from there.
MONICA: My favorite game would be hopscotch because you get to show your balancing act skills, coordination, and steadiness. You throw a piece of chalk, pebble, or any small, unbreakable, blunt item onto a hopscotch square and you jump all the way to the number that it stops on, go back, grab the item when you reach the number where the thing stopped at and hop back. Sometimes we play it timed to see how much speed you put in the game.

It's week 9 of "Popularity Girl" and between Nadia and Monica for elimination, with votes of 6:2, Nadia, the 30-year old lawyer, was eliminated from the contest. Now, there are 4 competitors left in the contest. The task for this week was to name the greatest dessert the competitor has ever tasted. Let's see what they had to say. MEGAN: My best dessert would be a 'petit four' which is a fancy French pastry sort of like a cake and a meringue combined together. My first 'petit four' was shaped as a cube and when I bit into that, it felt rich and creamy. It was extremely tasty and yummy, I didn't want to stop eating it.
RACHEL: My most delicious dessert I have ever had in my entire life are tiramisus. You may think 'tiramisu' means cake in Japanese, but it isn't. They are from Italy. The first one I have ever ate was when I was in my high school years. I went to a local bakery in Poptropica and they had these tiramisus that looked delicious. I bought and tried one of them, it was very yummy, it tasted just like cake, but softer.
JAIME: My most wonderful dessert would be a 'cookie salad'. A cookie salad is made from whipped cream, shortbread cookies, and vanilla pudding. I had it when I was little in Minnesota and my mom makes it once every 6 months. She would put a sprinkle of nutmeg into it and it was sweet, creamy, and tasted like heaven. I would never forget about that time.
MONICA: My best dessert I have ever tasted would be my mom's great vanilla-chocolate milkshakes. My mom used to own a diner before I was born. It was called the 'Stop In Diner' and her milkshakes were a successful hit. All of the people who entered the diner said the milkshake was amazing and my mom made it for me when I was 8. I can still remember the taste like it was yesterday. The milkshake tasted of vanilla, milk chocolate, whipped cream, and a cherry on top satisfied me. Very delicious, you would want a taste of the milkshake too.

JAIME: "I am completely in shock right now. Why do people even bother voting for me, there are five other competitors in this contest and they chose me for nomination. My song choice is an amazing song, but why do people even bother choosing me against all these other competitors. For example, Nadia chose a Shakira song, many people don't even know Shakira. MEGAN: The favorite song for me would be "Rocketeer" by Far East Movement because the music is nice and smooth and has a feeling of a party too.

AMY: My favorite song would be "Only Girl (In The World)" by Rihanna. It's really catchy and fun to listen to. The song taught me to be self-related and her voice in that song is amazing

NADIA: My favorite song is Shakira's "Waka Waka" because the song features the African culture voice and Shakira's happiness in that song. It was also used in the FIFA World Cup.

RACHEL: My favorite song? Ugh, it's gotta be "Single Ladies" by Beyonce because it's an easy to dance to song and hilariously scripted dance routine in the music video.

JAIME: My favorite song is "Dynamite" by Taio Cruz. The beginning sequence get me all excited and spirited. It makes me want to dance off the walls and spin around in circles all excited making me do my victory dance.

MONICA: The song I like the best would be Katy Perry's "Firework". The song describes to express yourself and let out all your worries and just be happy you are still living. The song really teaches you something. One of the best Katy Perry songs written.

Poptropica's 3rd Annual Writing Contest WINNER

This was a public contest to all Poptropica residents. More than 40 writing entries were submitted from all over Poptropica and the famous writers, Becky Syms, Ron Jasmik, and Lynda Dule were judging the contest. Being very professional, they all narrowed it down to the the finalist. The winner is Sylvia Triloni! This reader and self-writer worked very hard on the entry. She interviewed the judges and said the entry took 3 weeks to finish. Including brainstorming, rough drafting, and editing the entry. It was definately worth the effort. Her entry title was "Nature Naturally".

"Kamilla's" Make-Up Designs

Penelope Heatherson bought some "Kamilla's" make-up and thought to make some designs to show to the public how to put make-up on and how to make it look professional.

SIMPLY COMPLEX: It is a little complex, but not really hard. Just get the "Kamilla's" lime green eyeshadow, dab the eyeshadow on the skin above your eye. Make it like a semi-circle and don't overdo the eyeshadow. Next, get your "Kamilla's" ocean breeze blue mascara and just carefully make narrow light marks on your eyelashes going upwards. Then, have the "Kamilla's" cherry pink lipstick and just carefully oval around your lips as you usually do. See, it's a simple complex idea.

GOLD N' GOTHIC: This one is a little trickier than Simply Complex. Get your "Kamilla's" faded purple eyeshadow and dab it carefully like the Simply Complex method. It's okay if you overdo the eyeshadowing because it's going to be gothic anyway. Next, take your "Kamilla's" plum purple eyeliner and trace the lower part of the eyeshadow carefully. Then, take your "Kamilla's" regular purple mascara and put your purple mascara on tracing the eyelashes gently. After that, grab your "Kamilla's" golden yellow lipstick and put on your lipstick normally. Last, get your "Kamilla's" purple lipstick and on the more pointier side, gently trace around the edge of the golden lipstick with the purple lipstick. It's heavy make-up, but it's worth it for club parties.

AQUA PEARLS: This one is just different tints of blue. First, get your "Kamilla's" regular blue eyeshadow and do the same dabbing method as in Simply Complex. Next, grab your "Kamilla's" ocean breeze blue mascara and trace your eyelashes carefully with your mascara brush. Then, get your ocean breeze blue lipstick and put on the lipstick normally. This design will look hard, but it's easy.

CLUB DANCER SPECTACULAR: This is one of the hardest ones to do if you really want to have Ke$ha make up. Get your "Kamilla's" green eyeshadow and do the same method as in Simply Complex. Second, get your "Kamilla's" dark blue eyeshadow and dab it carefully diagonally starting from the middle of the green eyeshadow to the bottom part. Next, get your "Kamilla's" ocean breeze blue mascara and also do the same method as Simply Complex. Then, get your "Kamilla's" light blue blush and with the "Kamilla's" narrow brush, dab the blush with the narrow brush around the area of the bottom part of the eyes. Last, get your cherry pink lipstick and put on lipstick normally. You're done and off to the party and everybody will be shocked in awe with this make-up style.

Don't forget to squint your eyes and look at the mirror for putting on make-up. It's really important to know that first before putting on make-up.
